A budget friendly Shovel Yarder which focuses on short racks averaging 100 - 200-meter pulls.

The HLS 300 is usually mounted on smaller excavators in the 20-22t range, which makes it compact and versatile in scavenging, thinnings and clearfell.

This unit is quite comfortable in the 15 to 25 DBH with the ability to pull larger timber when needed ad-hoc, with a pulling power rating of between 3 -6 tons and a speed of 1.5m - 3m p/s.

With the inception of these units in 2005, they can be seen working on various plantations namely SAPPI, MTO, SAFCOL, PG BISON, YORK TIMBERS, TWK Shishelweni, Montigny and many more.

The HLS 300 is piloted via joystick with full proportional control and integrated drag system.

Our system is fully designed, manufactured and fitted based on the excavator carrier selected by the customer.

The latest versions of the Shovel Yarder systems incorporate built-in operator safety systems which ensure safe and proper cable and payload management, this means safer and more productive machines.
