A High-Powered, high performance Highlead Shovel Yarder which focuses on larger payloads or bigger timber. This Shovel Yarder is at home on the long and short pulls averaging 100 - 400-meter pulls.

The HLS 400 is usually mounted on medium sized excavators in the 24-30t range, which makes it fast and stable perfect for high volume scavenging, thinning’s and clear-fell.

This unit is quite comfortable in the 20 to 35 DBH with the ability to pull larger timber with a pulling power rating of between 6 -10 tons and a speed of 2m - 5m p/s.

With the inception of these units in 2017, they can be seen working on various plantations namely SAPPI, PG BISON, Merensky and many more.

The HLS 400 is piloted via joystick with full proportional control and integrated drag system.

Our system is fully designed, manufactured and fitted based on the excavator carrier selected by the customer.

The latest versions of the Shovel Yarder systems incorporate built-in operator safety systems which ensure safe and proper cable and payload management, this meas safer and more productive machines.
